The University Registrar and Alumni is dedicated to the principles of service, applying both administrative/academic policies and procedures. The office performs the essential roles of supporting, facilitating and promoting the academic mission of the University by connecting students to the Colleges/Institute/Schools, curriculum and classroom from enrollment to graduation and beyond.
The office provides the organizational structure and technology to ensure a sound and efficient delivery of instruction, allowing the Colleges/Institute/Schools and students to focus on academic achievement and program requirement. Within this structure, the office ensures the adherence to academic policy, preserving academic integrity, safeguarding the security and confidentiality of academic records and effectively provides accessible academic service to constituents. It further supports the administration in the academic policy formulation being the principal office to provide the necessary reports and analysis required for this task.
Currently the University has 6 colleges, 3 schools, and 2 institutes that enroll a total of more than 30 thousand students in regular, summer and extension programs. Since the onset of the college and then the University, there are a total of 37628 graduates of which 6937 are female. Most of the University’s graduates are found to be competent enough working at national and international organizations, and, therefore, establishing relationship between the University and the University’s Alumni is a timely issue that led to official establishment of Dilla University Alumni Association (DUAA).
